Just tossing it out here, Quoting: BBQ BOY™ Does the state buy them meals during deliberations? Gotta think if they go past lunch, at the very least they will go until dinner. I think they do, actually. (Provide food/lodging) At the taxpayers' expense, of course and, municipalities can't afford all this shit. . |

If he had his full weight on it... his neck meat would be smashed down. I didnt see that Quoting: Man Bear Pig They did point out that the autopsy showed no evidence of bruising or damage to the neck whatsoever. My wife let me try this move on her for a couple of minutes last night, I weigh 230 lbs, she goes about 130. She could breathe just fine. Got me a little excited though, LOL... |

One thing I didnt see much mention is that this was May 2020. I'm not sure how much Covid protocols fall into dealing with this situation. Either way, I always found it odd there wasnt much concern why he was so quiet after 10 minutes of physical struggle. I mean 3 people battled this guy, and then not a peep. Whether thats a contributor to a crime in itself is another discussion... Quoting: MaximusRex Right. Those protocols weren't even discussed at the trial, were they? All that was concentrated on was the knee and perhaps the position he was kept in- but no one talked about what measures would have been appropriate if Floyd had been assessed at that point and found to be not breathing. Good point, I don't think cops were lining up to do CPR at that time. Didn't Floyd say he had COVID at some point on the bodycam footage? Although Memorial Day weekend 2020 was the low point of daily cases during the entire pandemic after the initial outbreak, everyone thought COVID was over at the time. |
