Yes, $80.00 a carton is still robbery, fuck sin taxes, but it is $60.00 cheaper then any other outlet. When I started smoking, age 11 and I'm 52, it was under a buck a pack. Still should be. The call for lowering the nicotine in cigarettes is definitely related to Covid-19, the incidence of current smokers admitted to hospitals with Covid-19 is much lower than the prevalence of smokers in the general population, about 70%. Tobacco and nicotine are one of the strongest anti-inflammatory substances known to man.

Most Western governments around the world do not tolerate drugs or substances that appear to be successful as a treatment for Covid-19, because that would eliminate the need for a vaccine. I believe that's why these drugs or substances with promising results are either banned or discouraged
