This is productive at infiltrating the human body and neurological network based on the brief info they provide while flashing shit eating grins at the viewer. It's a huge part of the multi-step MOB project. According to this vid, they have yet to formulate a way to make the nanotubes do anything. Could one use this to simply cause catastrophic failure within a body? Yes. Could it, in this stage, be used to pilot a human? No. It depends where those tubes are and if they're just one part of a larger system. If it's small enough to pass the blood brain barrier (most likely) they can build up within the brain.
