Guaranteed, if they had taken those handcuffs off, Floyd would have either fled or attacked them. Everything he was doing during his arrest (“I can’t breathe. I’m claustrophobic. I wanna see my momma.”) was an attempt at escape. If cops start just accepting everything suspects throw out as excuses at face value, they might as well stop arresting people altogether because, once the criminals get wind all you have to do to get un-cuffed is complain that it hurts, they’re all gonna do it.

An attempt to escape or hide evidence. Cops aren’t dumb. They know how criminals operate. Floyd was a seasoned criminal. The prosecutor was talking about how he called the cops “mister officer”. Any reasonable person knows that was just shucking and jiving. The black people on that jury definitely know that and are more likely to factor that in than any dumb liberals who may be on the jury.

The act was totally transparent, and well-known to the criminal justice system (Hell, I’ve seen it in Law & Order) and the fact that a team of professional prosecutors aren’t talking about it shows that this is not a group of dispassionate attorneys but a team of advocates out to 1. harm police and 2. bow to the mob, of which they are a part.

The jury will get the case today. How long they will take to render a verdict is anyone’s guess. Hours? Bad for the defense. Days? Good for the defense are usually the rules of thumb.

One of the Jurors is a Nurse that works with Heart Patients. I think she is the Key to getting this Jury to acquit.
