I am beyond devastated and am still trying to wrap my head and heart around this. Quoting: emerald eye He was an amazing husband and father, and a smart and self-reliant patriot. He loved his family unconditionally, and we all feel lost and lonely without him. And because this is GLP... Just for the record and because I know it will come up… He did not have Covid, and did not get any vaccines, we were both against getting any of the current vaccines, this was an expected cardiovascular event. I just wanted to let the GLP community know, as he posted frequently, more than I did. I may not respond much for now, because I am still in shock and mourning, but we both appreciated many people on this forum over the years and I wanted to let people know of his passing. Sorry for your loss. |

Praying that God will comfort and guide you in the coming days and that you will be blessed with good memories. So sorry! T For Texas, T For Tennessee! I am so sorry for your loss. My uncle died on April 9th- also from a sudden cardiovascular event- not associated with covid or vaccines. He also had an epic beard. He was well loved by hundreds of friends and family members. <3 |

Suddenly, last December, I have been struggling with a heart condition. (5g dangers?) It may be that, and Covid has it covered. I don't expect to live long, but people who die now will be spared the horrors that are coming. I knew WWII veterans who told me in the nineties that they didn't like the looks of what was becoming of America, and they were glad they wouldn't live to see it. Last year, when everyone was cringing around in masks, I remembered what the old veterans said, and they didn't live to see it. It is horrible to see extreme spiritual evil oppressing the land and running amok. It is horrible to see so many people embrace it. Great masses of people run toward hell. I think of people who die now as being lucky to not have to see hell on Earth, and they have avoided the temptation of being swept along by it. 230 here, but 0 there. |

I will tell you a little about him since so many of you have been so kind and supportive. This is part of my tribute to him, you might enjoy reading some of it as he was a unique and special person: He was always the life of every party, the one having the best time and the one with the biggest laugh, while I was more of an introverted bookworm. He was also the one surrounded by kids because they all knew that he was as much of a big kid at heart as they were. He was absolutely fearless; even when a little fear might have been a good thing. He was older and had two sons from a prior marriage when I married him and we had two more sons together, but we were always a big happy family. Our youngest will be home with me for a while, the older ones are in college or in graduate school. Because I have a very good career in health sciences, we are financially stable, so we will be OK in that respect. He loved being around people and was mostly gentle and gregarious, or at least he was until someone pissed him off. He wasn't always the one starting something, but if something started, he would often be the one who usually finished it, that was the kind of guy he was. I never saw him back down from an important disagreement or lose a serious altercation although he did tell me, that before we were married he once woke up in a culvert, a full day after a fight. I can only assume he was stuffed in there because his opponents probably thought law enforcement would be looking for him and them. I tried to calm him down and discourage any disagreements and I can honestly say that he was never intentionally mean, but rather he stood his ground and he would not tolerate any disrespect, especially towards me or anyone else he loved. He loved and was loved, completely and unconditionally, flaws and all. I realize how lucky I was to be loved so intensely during the years we spent together. People have told me that I tamed him down, made him a calmer and more responsible person and that I saved him, but truthfully, he saved me. He taught me not to beat myself up over my mistakes, because he wouldn’t allow anyone to criticize me, not even me. He taught me to walk past fear and face danger without flinching. He taught me that overwhelming passion can be both tender and sweet and he taught me how love can be both the greatest joy and the most pain we will ever experience in this lifetime. Right now, I can only close with what I am desperately now trying to accept, believe, and live; described by author Kate O’Neill: “Love doesn’t die with death. Love is like liquid; it pours out, it seeps into others’ lives. Death doesn’t conquer all; love does. Love wins by lasting through death. Love wins by loving more, loving again, loving without fear.” Thanks, GLP!!!!
