Power crazy Ontario Premier announces even more restrictions.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford unveiled on Friday several new COVID-19 restrictions aimed at curbing record-high cases in the province, including increased police powers, provincial border checkpoints and restricting outdoor gatherings. Ford also announced an extension of Ontario’s stay-at-home order by two weeks, for a total of six weeks.

As part of the new restrictions, the premier said all non-essential construction and recreational facilities such as tennis courts and playgrounds will be closed immediately, while Solicitor General Sylvia Jones said Manitoba and Quebec border checks will be effective as of 12:01 a.m. on Monday.

In short (these are my words now) he's gone fucking power crazy. Just one measure allows cops to be able to stop anyone anywhere to ask why they are out of their homes. Leave the Province (or enter it) and you're in for a test and a two week quarantine.
