Can somebody smart figure out why exactly Musk is pumping it ? Does he want to lower price of BTC ? So people sell BTC to buy Doge ?

Purely just a pump. It has zero use-case and infinite circulating supply. Some group out there similar to the GameStop reddit guys decide amongst themselves which coin or stock they'll run up so they can pump it and then cash in. And they have $millions to play with.

I mined 28,000 DOGE coins when it first came out, they sat dormant on my old computer since 2014.

I found my wallet a few months ago and it was worth $250, now i have $13,000.

I read DOGE coin could go to $25 a coin within 5 years, i'll be a millionaire.

Also, you can still mine dogecoin by mining Litecoin. I bought an Antminer L3++ for $500 of ebay and because litecoin and dogecoin kind of merged you get BOTH when mining Litecoin. So each day I get 0.001 or what ever Litecoin and about 20 DOGEcoin. They use the Scrypt algorithm.

Doge is not a capped supply like bitcoin and most others. It should always come back down in price because the supply can always infinitely catch back up.

Dogecoin started its initial coin production schedule with 100 billion coins in circulation. By mid-2015 the 100 billionth Dogecoin had been mined with an additional 5 billion coins put into circulation every year thereafter. Although there is no theoretical supply limit, at this rate, the number of dogecoins put into circulation will only double in 26 years.

It’s not capped but it’s inflation rate is the same as litecoin at 4% per year. The only difference is litecoin eventually stops mining new coins in the year 2140 while Doge can mine them infinitely. As if anyone here cares about 100 years in the future tho lol

Well, ok, only 5 "billion" more coins a year.

And over time it becomes more difficult to mine so the payout decreases which reduces the incentive to mine thus keeping the supply lower while hopefully keeping demand high.

Meanwhile, most other coins are not adding any new supply at all and the total supply is less than doge is adding every year. The reality is, doge should never increase in long term value compared to bitcoin. It should not be mathematically possible.
