I walk my kids to the park, about 1 mile from my house. There's a nice bike trail through the woods to get there. It is VERY hard for me not to, at least laugh at them to my kids, when I see folks in the middle of the freaking woods with a mask on. Good thing is it only represents about 10%, but it also clarifies at least 10% are brainwashed beyond hope.

On our walk, my son (5 years old), always reminds me that we hope there aren't 'masker kids' at the playground so he doesn't need to wear his mask. Yes - if there are existing idiots on the playground I do have my kids put on their face diapers out of politeness. Yes we know it's not gonna spread outside at the playground, but those maskers are obviously terrified and it doesn't do anyone good to scare them.

Again, fortunately it's becoming increasingly rare that we encounter masker kids/families at the playground - but they do still show up periodically.

My favorite was one day there was a retarded man (I mean this literally, he had the mental capacity of a small child) unmasked trying to play with the masker kids. Watching the parents cringe, it was so hard to hold in my laughter.

In general I try to treat everyone with respect and the way I would want them to treat me. If I actually thought the face diaper was gonna save my life - I'd want other folks to respect that.

Good news is that more and more I'm finding establishments where all employees are smiling. I've found enough of them now around me that I almost don't spend any money at an establishment that requires their employees to mask. And yes - I live in a state with mask mandates (PA).
