Building a factory takes time. Something sunk the current chip market with a torpedo. Anyone have any thoughts?

Why can't the U.S. manufacture the needed chips?
Gates could do it.....

Gates is a software guy. Not a chip guy, and definitely not a doctor also though he plays one in the daily propaganda.

There aren’t many mfg facilities of any kind in the US, in case you haven’t noticed. We print fake money and exchange it for goods other countries make.

As for computer chips, the US company Intel still has some fabrication plants here, as well as in Ireland and Israel. The assembly and test is mostly done in Asia even for Intel. It’s cheaper ya know. But to increase capacity requires more factories, which Intel has announced, but they cost billions and billions to build and 1.5-2 years.

You’re welcome.
