They likely knew he was going to be truthful and give the jury reasonable doubt. But since he was not hired by the state he was picked up by the defense and is willing to give them more than that shadow of doubt.

Yea, they could execute Chauvin, bring George back to life, and give every black man, woman, and child a billion dollars, a huge hip hop record contract, a basketball scholarship, free fried chicken, grape soda, and water melon for the rest of their lives and their will still be riots and looting.

I will be willing to consider murder by causing his heart attack, if that is possible, since he should have been put on his side. They made it as uncomfortable on him as possible considering he was reporting he couldn't breathe and in that way the officers actions could have been directly responsible. But it is a minimized kind of homicide and not what the prosecution alleged. I will NEVER buy the claim that he asphyxiated man to death because the arguments are absolute BS. He was not restricting breathing in either his neck or pressure on his back, where his other knee wasn't on his back. But I admit his reported difficulties in breathing should have made them put him on his side after he was handcuffed. I also don't think it matters whether or not he was experiencing 'excited delirium', I think what matters is what the police thought at that moment.

Even if he might have been positionally asphyxiated (no way in hell) the fact that 7 of the 27 times Floyd pled "I can't breathe" were prior to being placed on the ground should be reasonable doubt.

This experts is the first who seems like a regular guy. The prosecution experts all seemed like eggheads without practical experience. That could work for the defense.

And he calls this a 'control technique', which is what it should have been called the entire trial. It was NOT excessive use of force. Heck, they didn't use a baton or even pepper spray.

This expert seemed fair. And he seems to be fair and have the same disposition with the prosecution. But the prosecution seemed to get irritated for a second. That was fun.

I thought they weren't supposed to call him defendant?
