You are probably right. A 27 is also .40 cal and in a lighter frame is even snappier than a 22. A lot of police forces use the 27 for a backup pistol.

I don't think any cop would be issued a subcompact for a duty weapon.

If they needed a murdered black guy, why not just make one?

They may be able to charge her with negligence for pulling the wrong weapon

She should have known better though

I know a kid who was training on a taser and he pulled his gun by accident and shot it into a locker, their tasers are yellow, but stuff happens in the heat of the moment

They have the option to buy their own. All Officers have that option. So do Prison guards that are armed.

I don't think she will be charged, which will mean more Civil disobedience.

Traffic stops should be done by the same group that issues parking tickets. They should be unarmed civil servants.
Speeding should not result in interrogation by a team of highly armed individuals.

If Minnesota has a fleeing felon law that authorized this level of the use of force then she wouldn't be.

However, in this environment she will be charged.

The scumbag had a weapons warrant, cuck.

I have a big beefy hand and large forearm and work out daily. I weigh 240. My 36 (compact .45) and 21 (full frame .45) are hard for me to control when I'm not in a 3 point stance. A .40 is much more lively.

She would not have had to inform anyone that she shot the suspect. They would have known without a doubt, and their ears would have been ringing bad. They wouldn't have just stood there like nothing happened.

I don't think the guy could have driven off either, after taking that much kinetic force to the torso at point blank range.

That's true, but on the other hand, he IS a hoodlum and apparently they found him threatening. This is such a common occurrence in the black community and I don't see this in other communities, even other POC communities like Asian or Hispanic. There is something WRONG with the black community and just ignoring it doesn't help. Why are so many of their young men wanted for violent crimes? Why are they all on drugs or pushing them? Why are they so violent and aggressive with the police? We've seen this over and over and over again. BLACKS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEMSELVES.

As for the police, as I've said here, I am against routine traffic checks, I'd just send a ticket, I think they cause far more problems than they solve, and I don't believe WOMEN should be front line officers. Women use their guns far more often than men do because they panic and cannot physically control the situation.

That said, this was an unfortunate accident from which the family will profit immensely, I'm sure. That sounds like a callous statement but let's face it, this young man is not a loss to either the black community or society in general. And that is how he chose to live HIS LIFE.

That is not an accidental discharge. At best it is a negligent discharge. Here's a tip. Don't fight and argue with the police and you will greatly lessen their chance to shoot you.

I agree with all of your points. I'm just frustrated with the fact that the real police abuses like this get overshadowed by cases where the cop was not in the wrong.
