In the past, I was idealistic and the young me would have been appalled at what I feel now.

But then I had life experience - I lived all over this country (chasing jobs, usually a couple years at a time). I never married or had kids, but I got to see the variety in the US and I got to live/experience almost everything.

I've lived in a 95% black multi block apartment complex outside of DC, and I've lived in semi rural environments with 10% blacks and everything inbetween. I used to manage a workforce that was 95% black (from Baltimore). I also worked in professional settings where there was one or two "outlier" blacks, nice people that I enjoyed knowing.

The "celebrities" who decry "racism" - they have never known anything but the wealthy, hit the lottery black friend or two that lives their same, wealthy, Hollywood lifestyle. They know nothing of what the typical black areas are like out in the real world.

Well, I do. And so, I'm not ashamed of my viewpoint because I have lived this. I'm different from most in that I'm sort of a nomad, moving from state to state every couple or five years. When I was younger, I really did give it a chance. Now that I'm approaching 50, my attitude is: FUCK IT.

I want to live happy and that means with people that share my cultures and values. In the case that a black person does that, I would accept them as a friend too.

They are just destroying their own communities - nothing new here. I don't see them waltzing into my neighborhood, and if they ever did - Oh Boy, that would be a mistake with my neighborhood.

I remember many years ago, getting back into CT and hoping that one day the people would take to the streets to fight back against TPTB for infringing on our freedoms, lying to us, manipulating us with propaganda, poisoning us, etc


I never thought the people would be taking to the streets ON BEHALF OF the puppeteers who brainwash the sheeple.
