What is the biggest change that this virus has had on your daily life? Do you ever see it going back to "normal"?

It's hard to believe this whole thing started over a year ago. "Flattening the curve" turned into something else..

It hasn't.
At all.

Still don't know anyone who knows anyone who's fallen worse
ill (2 "positive" cases with actual sniffles in what, 13 months now..? 90 kms away from national "horspot"...lame)
than the regular seasonal flu/cold.

Government "counter measures" sure as heck have, though.
No more work, no more love.

I use grocery pickup or delivery now and love it.
I don't eat out as much.
I have a huge case of social anxiety when I used to be very confident and social.
I don't trust women at all now, especially young women. I am a woman but women have acted very ugly & assholey about covid & politics while men have pretty much ignored it here, it at least minded only their own business. I would say 90% of women I have encountered have been self righteous assholes.

I no longer have to work in Amsterdam (saving me 4 hours a week). instead i work in a local office 5 min from my home (because i dont like working from home)

I save a lot of money (for example traveling to amsterdam twice a week, not eating out, no clubbing, no birthday parties etc)

i only do groceries once a week now instead of almost daily. learned to cook etc.

people no longer bring their family to the supermarket.

hardly any traffic jams

loads of parking spaces at work

Re: How has the Corona Virus affected YOU the most?
Wearing these goddam masks which I hate and not being able to get together in groups. I like to give talks to small groups and it would have been the next phase of my business but I can't do that, of course. I hate Zoom and I can't talk to people in masks. So it's cut down on my work too.

It also saddens me to see places that have been shut down or greatly restricted like our favorite restaurants, but as a somewhat rural area, we're not as hard hit as the city folks.

Mainly the masks and not being able to get together in groups.

Re: How has the Corona Virus affected YOU the most?
Well I quit my regular job and became a travel and agency nurse. The pandemic has meant plenty of work and extra $ for me. People are always out sick over it and it gives me plenty of shifts and bonuses. I’ve been moderately ok so far health wise. It’s been very annoying wearing the masks and face shields and doing the weekly testing and at times twice weekly when pandemic was worse. I’ve been lucky so far with not getting sick. I wasn’t careful or anything, I just would take ivermectin religiously every 3-4 weeks and I never got sick. I got casual and stopped taking the ivermectin for about 1 1/2 months, thinking I was invincible I guess, and I got sick recently. Very mild runny stuffy nose, scratchy throat, a low grade fever at night. I never got the cough or chest congestion or lung inflammation. I did lose my taste and smell and it is yet to return. I tested positive during a rapid Walgreens drive thru test.) I have vague symptoms that I’ve never had before that I think are covid related and I’m still waiting for them to go away.
#1. I have no ability to smell anything. Can’t smell my own poop or farts or armpits. Can’t smell bacon frying. Can’t smell cabbage in the crock pot all day. Can’t smell when I spray myself with expensive perfume. I spray things every day to test myself and it’s blank every time. Sometimes I will get a vague whiff of something momentarily but it almost feels like a hallucination or a phantom smell. Like a brain trick.

#2. I can’t taste food or flavors. I can detect sweetness and salty and even hot sauce because it hurts my mouth, but I can’t identify what any flavors are. It makes eating joyless. It actually makes life less worth living when you’re missing two whole senses, even if they aren’t really essential ones. It’s like being alive but only in black and white. I feel nauseated about food, especially warm or hot food and especial meat for some reason. I now only eat food for the texture. So things like curly rotini pasta and ice cream, frozen slushees are basically all I want.

#3. Nose constantly stuffed up. The stuffiness is worse at night and I now have to sleep separately from my partner because I’ve developed snoring.

#4. Constant gnawing lower back pain that isn’t relieved with rest or yoga, posture, or walking. The pain is so bad that I can’t sleep at night or start my day without taking ibuprofen first. The ibuprofen keeps it at bay for a few hours. It feels like the lower back pain that comes with menstruation only it never goes away, ever. I can see why people become heroin addicts.

#5. Chronic constipation. Before I got sick with covid, I had something called IBS-D which caused me to have to run to the bathroom 5-10 x a day with loose stool and explosive diarrhea. I had a bout that lasted 9 whole months. I had gallbladder inflammation as a result. I could not digest fats, I could not eat dairy. The act of chewing food at all would send me into an ibs-d attack so I had to be really careful about planning my days. Whenever I got sick with this covid, all of that subsided and now I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wont poop for 2 days straight sometimes. I’m all backed up. My stools are formed though so that makes me happy I guess. But the covid does something to your intestines to make them numb or just freeze up. No more peristalsis! My best friend also just recovered and has the same problem.

Oh - my husband and I allegedly did have COVID back in January. For me, if that's what it was, it was just a cold. Not even as bad as some flus I've had. He had to be hospitalized for pneumonia but he was only in for 3 days and recovered very quickly. Even a bad cold can cause that and he does have some health issues. Neither of us will get the vaccines, btw.

You already know.

Supposed intelligence and common sense do not necessarily overlap. "Intelligent" people with advanced degrees are really just well versed in repeating the thoughts and ideas of others. Most of them are programmed to follow paradigms and accepted modes of thought.

Case in point: I have doctors and educators in my family. Every single one of them very intelligent. All of them pro-mask and pro-experimental gene therapy injection. They will all parrot everything from their education which programmed them to accept an event such as this, and they will all repeat what the MSM says, but when confronted with direct evidence that counters their narrative they become hostile / distant and reject the information.

I would say that those with advanced degrees have put themselves in a worse position than the rest of us. Those people are most invested in the lie as they spent years worshipping and studying the accepted paradigms. Most of those paradigms having anti-western and anti-human agendas.

They've been programmed, my guy. It will take an apocalypse to wake them up. And the apocalypse has to be loud enough to wake them.

Stopped shopping at mask nazi stores. Adding Trader Joe's to that list this morning, while Fresh Thyme is chill now and gets my money instead.

Most thrift stores insist on masking, so Power Trippers needn't expect to see me. Goodwill, for-profit only, is my least favorite for that reason, and the biggest mask nazis.

Makes me sad to see so many people say "tell that to my mother-in-law" or "my grandpa died of covid." I truly feel sorry for them, not dislike them at all.

I read something recently and I wanted to ask if anyone knows if it’s true. I heard the Red Cross is rejecting plasma donations from people who have had the covid vaccine? Is this true? If so, big LOL to the vaxxed. You’re basically a leper now. Who knows what autoimmune diseases you’ll be developing that they don’t want in their blood supply...kinda scary
