How has the Corona Virus affected YOU the most?

Hubs lost job of well over 30 years due to lack of work and ended up taking early retirement, as did a very large number of others in his union. Since I haven't worked in the last over two years due to a string of medical problems this cut our income in half. Thankfully it is enough for us to still live decently and the amount is much, much better than what he received in unemployment benefits.

The silver lining in all of this is that now hubs and I get to spend all the time we want together- which is something we both cherish! I feel sorry for others in the same situation that don't feel the same way about spending time with their partner.

In-family, none of us pay any mind to anything any media or govt puts out for guidance or rule. Nobody got anything ever. We don't even know anyone personally that got hospitalized, never mind died. Positives? yes, asymptomatic?, yes, mild symptoms?, yes.

If there was zero media about this we'd all write it off to normal flu or a cold like every year since the dawn of time.

I use to go to the movies, I use to go to the clubs, but all that changed after I got cats (nothing to do with Covid)

in terms of what Covid has done, it's educated me more on germy theory, the medical industry, how bill gates used india as a test subject, and vaccination. It's demonstrated the brutality of the media, government, and their collusion with things like big pharma, the censorship, and the criminality of people that hide behind corporations.

It's shown us how people will wear a mask and imitate television like a parrot. And it's exposed the gutless sort of fake industry known as politics.

I think it's a good demonstration on attempts to manipulate the public and people's irrationality based on fear. But it's also being a good opportunity to separate those that will jab themselves with a foreign substance based on lies, and those that have a higher spiritual understanding that are less lazy and more independent. It's good to be able to separate self respect and integrity from those that have got the Jab. What I mean by that is, we are in two separate groups now, and that means a clear separation between those that aren't mature, and those that are. We never had this type of defining marker until now.

It's lonely and I am not an introvert, so that's a problem.

It woke me up to the fact that everything is a lie so I shaved my head and lost 60 pounds, yet gained muscle , preparing to fight.

My head is a bit watermelonish, but getting rid of the beauty of my hair helped me drop these pounds and I’m fitter than I’ve ever been and still working for it each day.

I’m not going out soft, meek, and pampered as I was before Covid. I will leave this place as a warrior. When they tell me to get on my knees or face the wall, I will refuse because I’m not laying down for any person or entity. I’m giving it all I got. I am finally proud!

It's been good to me personally, all things considered. Frankly, it saved my ass. So far. Notwithstanding future events.

Yet, I still rail against it on principle.

I am retired. We no longer do fun things like travel, spend all our time in front of the idiot tube or monitor. Going to the store masked up is a hassle.

I do too much Amazon shopping, and Bezos is making out like a bandit.

I want to travel again. I have gained 25 pounds, not good.

Watching people fall in line with the government dictates is unreal and almost unnerving.

I completely missed out on my first two kids lives when they were growing up as I had to go to work every day and commute 1 to 2 hours in each direction. I now get to work from home and am spending more time with my family and being an actual part of their lives (specially my new born who is now 1). this experience has been priceless for our family having me home. Sure working from home, baby, and two kids with distance learning is rough... but its a 1000 times better than me waking up one day and my kids are gone and I missed it all.

I have to briefly wear a mask throughout the day. Building a new gaming pc isn't possible due to chip shortages and all video cards selling out quickly for crypto mining.

For me it a solidified the fact that society is full of sheep...

I remember the days when I use to think people with master degrees were smart, how wrong I was. These people are among the most ridiculous sheep of everyone, the most gullible and obedient, so easily programmable as if to be completely compliant with the most stupid of request, no matter how crazy it is.

No, those with master degrees went through a lot of sheep training to get to where they are, which is to be told what to do and think. Their entire skillset is simply obedience. We just retired after working and saving for a lifetime, and we were looking forward to taking 5 Viking River cruises before we are too old to do it-- Vietnam, China,Danube, a Scandinavia cruise and a British Isles cruise. So sad we cannot do it now because it was a dream.

We also had a first grandchild that we cannot see yet due to draconian CA.
