"Wright had been pulled over Sunday afternoon for an outstanding warrant — and was shot after jumping back in his car and trying to race away, crashing to a stop after driving several stops, police said.

Within hours of Wright’s 2 p.m. fatal shooting, at least 500 protesters had taken to the streets, according to the Star Tribune — many looting and trashing up to at least 20 stores, officials later revealed.

Looting was widespread late Sunday into early Monday, not just in Brooklyn Center — a city of about 30,000 people located on the northwest border of Minneapolis — but spilling into north and south Minneapolis, the local reports noted."

So, if this is true, those that initiated the former narrative, as well as those that perpetuate it (including news media) need to be hunted down, arrested, and thrown into Gitmo.

I don't get it though, I mean this kid got himself killed by being retarded, but all of the cops I know just let black people go now if they run.

None of them think it's worth a murder charge if they are forced by the minority suspect to kill them, so they just let them go and call it in unless it's some major crime.

Sure they could have thought he was going for a gun in the car, much like the Jacob Blake shooting.

But damn, you've got body armor and a tactical advantage of training and having your gun already drawn... I would take the 5% chance of getting shot in that scenario over the 100% chance of my city being burned down and getting charged with murder.

this young man was only half black (white Mom) - so by the logic of pro BLM folks he wasn't even black. These people are kinda stupid.

He's black because he was shot by police.

If he was a police officer who killed a black man, they would call him white... see below.

Not only can half black officers become white when the left needs them to, but full on Asians as well... I remember seeing many news reports early on that said it was 4 white officers who killed George Floyd.

Really is crazy that you would have to tell your kid to do what police tell you and if their is an issue settle it in court. Makes you wonder what other societal norms are not being taught, observed and lived.

He may not be black enough during normal times, but when something like this happens, they’ll take any martyr they can get.

Having The Talk once, when every other conversation you have at home starts with “Fuck da Po-leese!” doesn’t get it, I’m afraid.

Given that in Minnesota they have a history of withholding information until the race riots are as bad as can possibly be, I would say the warrant was for something serious.

It would be tougher to get every Autozone in the state burned down if it got out the warrant was for child rape.

If it was for something minor, the family would have already come out and said so.
