UK just went Woke.. Stephen Lawrence day?

The guy was a criminal drug dealing scumbag who got killed on his block. Now we have Stephen Lawrence day, since when has celebrating the low life's and street dealers who got out of their depth been something for national remembrance?

I don't even see the relevance of the colour of his skin. I was at university in Greenwich at the time, everyone in the town knew he was nothing but trouble. He got what he deserved.
