I'm looking at her FB page - she has a strong distrust towards China and has made many public posts prior to the travel incident of her disdain towards China.

Yeah, I'm not committing to the validity of this story until I see more proof and/or hear others report similar incidents.

So the Canadian "Karen" says that the CCP took over Vancouver Airport ? Canada put out those travel restrictions weeks ago.

She says "Chinese" 17 times, seems like she's trying to push that point a little too hard.

I have to agree. When you look up the link, it says it was from face book but there is a name H/T Simon Hicks above the story.
I cant find the same Simon Hicks on face book that can be connected to the story and the woman's name Victoria is on facebook, but she hasn't posted anything since September of 2019.

Anyone could have made this up and used this lady's name. For all we now this woman has been deceased or doesn't even know her name and picture is being used. And also is the lady Victoria on facebook even this person to begin with.

while I do believe things will keep escalating, I also believe there is so much click bait of fake news.
It could be true or not. It's believable but also so much dis-info.

Fly into Seattle and drive to Vancouver. We made the decision to never go back to Canada a few years ago. We used to go for weekends, but no more. The people are great tho.
