It's pretty clear they've assumed the eating position.
And no grass in sight.
Must be grain.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77885866 I suppose the farmer could have planted a new field of grain in that circle style for center irrigation style and the sheep found the grain or new sprouts at the center of the field. The field does look ready for planting.
