Re: Derek Chauvin Trial - Day 10 - Livestream
so basically the left wingnut doctor is saying, you cant hold down or restrain a criminal... because it will take away 28% of his airflow ? All those numbers and percentages were pure BS. How does he know, that Chauvin actually just had his knee resting there.. so he wouldnt try and get up or move. You dont see his neck or skin smashed down due to pressure. Calculating the weight of his belt equipment ??? When he said he wasnt getting paid, but he normally gets paid a lot. Thats BS too, that motherfucker is getting paid under the table somewhere
 Quoting: Man Bear Pig

Him not getting paid was the only honest testimony he gave. He’s clearly an activist.
 Quoting: Corporal Punishment

he will get wealthy from his cameo and he knows it

The defense still gets to present its case, it doesn't make too much sense to ask the prosecution's witnesses too many questions which may help reinforce their case, especially if they are considered biased.
 Quoting: dabrute

Each side should be poking holes in the testimony of the other side’s witnesses. There were some easy holes to poke in yesterday’s testimony that were missed. But, when you are just one attorney, greatly outmanned, this isn’t easy.

 Quoting: BBQ BOY™

All expert witness testimony is biased. The same will be true for the defense. But, a fair minded jury will look to see whether the witness is honest. When witnesses seem to favor one side when questioned via body language or how they answer that should factor in to a juror’s evaluation of the testimony.

A example of an honest expert witness was the LAPD officer. He didn’t seem hostile to defense and seemed to have a consistent way of interacting with both the prosecution and defense.
 Quoting: Corporal Punishment

true, i noticed the doctor got defensive when he was cross examined
 Quoting: Man Bear Pig

The first witness yesterday would have been difficult to cross examine. He is a professor who is used to just making things up. And he can thrown in some medical mumbo jumbo that would confuse people and seem authoritative.

at what point in this trial will they present any evidence that Chauvin meant to kill GF? Chauvin was clearly following the manuals. normally if you dont follow your training, you lose your paycheck

secondly, where is the racial component evidence to this? weren't the riots carried out because of systematic racialism or something?

Remember that this is still the prosecution's turn, and that Nelson has to stick pretty much to what the witness testifies to during his cross. He can't bring up new items really during this time, but rest assured he will have his turn to discredit some of these paid (and unpaid) clowns when it is the defense's turn.

I don't think they have to prove Intent with second-degree unintentional murder and second-degree manslaughter charges.

And the prosecutor comes back with mocking the nano second. Yes ahole, in nano seconds there are different degrees of pressure from weight distribution. As I have said, how do we know that he wasnt simply just resting his knee to keep him down, and having most of his weight on his other leg. He wasnt smashing down his neck with his knee... that is for sure

yesterday, one of the "experts" who testified said "coma" always happens before a Fentynel death

and the expert said that Floyd was never in a coma -- therefore, his death could not be due to the Fentynel

if I remember right he actually died at the hospital later on, never having regained conciousness

if so, that wasn't a "coma" ? When he went unconcious then died later on ?
