The ME is classifiying death as a homicide,but he doesn't say what was the cause of the homicide.
Death by overdose. Homicide by bad drugs?
In that case, isn't the drug pusher guilty of murder 3?

Also, wasn't there another female in the backseat?
Thought I heard that she lost consciousness for awhile.
Possibly, she took the same BAD drugs on that day.

I don't seem to recall Chauvin shouting out the "n-word" or doing any other racial or hateful things during the arrest

I guess we're at the point where a white officer/black suspect incident automatically equals "federal hate crime" ?

The media panel of experts believing this case should result in conviction are apparently blind and exercising wishful thinking. The prosecution HAS NOT proven homicide or manslaughter beyond a reasonable doubt.

There is no damning evidence here except for St George's own physical condition and the amount of dangerous drugs in his system. The can try this case in the media all they want, but I hope in the end they are left empty handed and crying over acquittal. Walter Cronkite is rolling in his grave.

The term Homicide in the medical field is not defined specifically the same as in criminal cases with law enforcement. They explained this in some detail the other day. The reason Blackwell emphasized this at the end of his redirect was for the benefit of the jury. He is playing this terminology as it related to what we see on TV and associate with murder. We need to keep this in mind.

A last gasp effort. I think we got the real deal today and in my mind it would be difficult to convict Chauvin now.

I have been reading between the lines the last year and have been proven correct on everything. So I will explain as I know I am right as well.

The knee on the neck is just being mentioned because it is a type of restraint that may be distinguinshable from restraint generally. It did not kill him. What killed him was the combination of those restraints, his heart disease and his drug use. The ruling of homicide is simply because it involved another party: he is not passing judgement on the restraint or the types used, just saying it aggravated his heart and he probably spelled out neck restraint in particular so it would be addressed whether or not it was lawful. Bear in mind that it isn't just about murder. Bringing up neck restraint (or whatever he called it; it is wrong to call it neck restraint, I think he called it neck pressure) that doesn't kill the victim doesn't mean it might not be criminal in nature, such as manslaughter, if the officer didn't abide by police rules.

He is not dumbing it down for simpletons like dumb ass journalists. He is a smart person and I'm not sure if I'm wording it well, but I KNOW I am right.

As for the issue of the neck compression and questions about it's legality: it is not neck restraint. Conscious or unconscious neck restraint involves reaching around the neck smothering breathing, or maybe it's to do with blood to the brain, I don't know. But it's NOT neck restraint. It is a pin, which can be employed for passive resistance as one of the pro-prosecutor officer witnesses testified. It is a pin to the upper back that drifted over his neck, and while the officer said it was strongly discouraged, he didn't make any mention of it coming across the back of the need being against police policy. That witness is on record.

Every time the topic of Floyd's drug use comes up, ABC pauses to remind the audience that millions of Americans also struggle with substance abuse.

Like a full stop, they're all like "Floyd had meth in his system WHICH MILLIONS OF AMERICANS ALSO DO."

Shall the next jump be, that if white police officers are guilty of a hate crime that leads to the death of black people, by their lack of professionalism or compassion while the subject is under their care or custody, is the next accusition going to be that white emergency room physicians, and white doctors are guilty of hate crimes when a black patient dies for that same reason?

Both professions are sworn to protect the population regardless of race, religion or color.

This is really entering into the Twilight Zone.

They have supposed experts who are doctors on ABC right now saying what Chauvin did would kill anyone regardless of drug use or heart disease.

I just watched on Crowder the other day someone sit through 9 minutes of a knee on their neck and they were fine.

You have arteries running up the side of your neck that bring blood to your brain. They are called vertebral arteries. If you stop that blood from flowing you will not be able to breath.

Trust me on this. I had a dentist break one while trying to do a root canal. I stopped breathing, had a stroke and had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Thank God I recovered fully. But I only have the one left, on my left side. Happened to me in 2015.

Dr Baden should be interesting, that old ho. He's gotta be at least 80 now but he still can sniff out the grift potential for himself in a case.

Since the knee to the neck didn't cover even one artery and two arteries were needed to be smothered for him to pass out: knee to neck didn't kill him. It was a stressful factor. So the only hope they have left is proving the knee to his back killed him, or some combination of the two, and as mentioned the knee to the back was vastly on his arm around his elbow, not over his lungs. It is IMPOSSIBLE to conceive of the positioning captured on at least two police cams killing Floyd. They have no signs of bruising on the back either, if I heard right. So they have to make stuff up there to get a conviction.

As soon as the idiot prosecution move from notions of murder to manslaughter, then we can begin looking at it from the perspective of a manslaughter conviction. If this jury convicts on the murder charges, it will prove how stupid humanity is. But a manslaughter charge which doesn't require the defendent being the cause of death is still on the table if they ever decide to make an actual case for it.

Uh, no. The arteries are not superior the vertebrate. In fact they are protected by them. Most likely to prevent them from superficially being cut off.

You left out the part where humans have two and if one is cut off the other can fully supply blood to the brain.

You are correct. But I couldn't breath until the second artery kicked in. Took about 45-60 seconds. All I was saying is a knee to the right part of the neck can stop a person from breathing. What if that second artery was clogged and he was living on that second one? I am living on my second one.

They are now saying that if an elderly person with a known heart condition is robbed at gunpoint and then dies of a heart attack then the assailant is guilty of causing that heart attack.

The difference is that George Floyd put himself in a position that would require police intervention.

This case is so weak.

I can’t believe how they are trying to stretch the truth.
