I'd trade any two of my front teeth straight up for a nice straight split window '63 with or without the F.I. and provide the pliers to pull them with too. BUT....

I wouldn't give you the change in my pocket for an '80 with the 305 and an automatic. I remember them at the time since I was in California and was wondering what if anything was going through GMs heads to get caught flat footed like that. Can you imagine pulling up to a red light in your brand new Vette and getting smoked by a Toyota Celica GT when it turned green? It could easily have happened and that's the kind of thing that makes a young guy leave town and change his name gnomesayin'?

you forgot to mention that the 63 Z06 was called the "split window."
you'd have to be into grunting and big blocks to be in the know.
