Actually this has probably been going on for some time undercover and quietly behind the scenes disguised as excessive procedures, lag time in appointment like not getting appoints for Months out on results of cancer tests or treatments...and other sorted unnoticed ways.

There was even an episode on one of the TV series of late that had something like this embedded into the story line.

This is a new, mental retard breed of doctor that does surgeries by pushing buttons on robot-guided lasers, does status updates in between patients, and is no longer required to take an oath to the effect of "do no harm."

These people are mental retards. If you've got a few thousand lying around buy some books and some equipment and do your own preventative medicine in the hopes that you'll never have to interact with mental retardation such as this.

As I understand it, doctors need to maintain a racially balanced clientele?

Boston census: White pop 45%, 22% blk, 20% Hispanic. 16% other.

One would think the location of the office would have more to do with the racial % of the clientele? I seriously doubt any physician's office in the whole city is able to maintain these statistics.

I have known doctors that want to limit their Medicare/Medicaid patients so they are not targeted for fraud investigations.

I know down here in the rural south, no one wants to go to foreign doctors because their speech is difficult to understand, but, yes, most of the black patients go to black doctors by choice. Many patients are assigned to the physician on call at the hospital regardless of race. They followup with these physicians if they do not already have a physician, but, as most hospitals are now using a hospitalist these dynamics are changing.
