You do not give a fentanyl dose for sedation WITHOUT VENTILATION. Without ventilation, you will croak. At 11 nl it is certainly possible.

assuming george flowyd has the regular 5 litres of blood observed in humans and 11 nano gram is 0.000011 micrograms. if you times that by 5000 ml then you get a dose of

0.055mcg

this is the dose for sedation of infants.

Younger infants:
---Sedation/analgesia: Slow IV push: 1 to 4 mcg/kg/dose; may repeat every 2 to 4 hours
---Continuous sedation/analgesia: Initial IV bolus: 1 to 2 mcg/kg

It means he could have... let’s remember that the cop is INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty...

One specific thing out of this today. Testimony indicated there should be bruises from the force of the knee that would have caused these pulmonary shut downs.
No bruises there were reported in the autopsy.

Interesting. Does a recent overdose make you more susceptible to a fatal overdose? Does it further weaken the body? It seems to me it does.

Also, what exactly is an “overdose”? If you don’t die did you overdose? Stop the people who say the police killed Floyd, was he or was he not overdosing while being arrested?

you can avoid the overdose you would have had with some reversal drugs.

So then overdose is just a potentially lethal dose? And, we can’t be sure everyone who received a counteracting drug would have died, can we? My point isn’t to be obtuse but just to get more of a focused idea of what overdose really means. Because the concept ties into Floyd’s death even if someone thinks the police killed him.

If he was clean then isn’t that the most dangerous time to use? Clean people think they can handle more than a novice. I’ve heard from people that with heroin using after being clean is very dangerous. That would apply to fentanyl too I’d think.
