I wonder what their history books are teaching their school children? China made a 'La La Land'-inspired propaganda musical about the life of Uyghur Muslims, which omits all mention of mass surveillance and oppression which are documented by many videos on Youtube. According to the Wall Street Journal, China is also running ads on Facebook showing people saying that their lives in Xinjiang are improving and that Western countries are trying to destabilize China. Facebook is banned in mainland China, but the Chinese government can take out ads. [ link to www.businessinsider.com (secure)] [ link to www.businessinsider.com (secure)] A Dieu vat |
