Observation I've made surrounding computers - A larger more diabolical plan perhaps?

Thought I'd share an observation with everyone. I work in high tech and have been noticing events that individually seem harmless enough but when looked at together seem to paint, in my opinion, a pretty clear picture.

It looks to me like technology is rapidly heading into centrally controlled territory. Not just in the traditional sense you may think like Facebook, Google, etc but down to your own data stored on your own computer.

Over the last few years we've seen Microsoft develop the most advanced PC operating system in history only to give it away for free. Why? Why do they want you to have Windows 10 so badly they're willing to give it away?

Compound that on top of Intel right around the same time changing their CPU architecture in such a way new PCs CANNOT run older versions of Windows. That's right,if you own a copy of Windows XP, it WILL NOT install on a modern PC. New PCs ONLY support Windows 10. They claim its not collusion and have some BS reason why but this is suspect for sure.

Then came cloud storage. Free cloud storage. Store all of your data for free with Google or Microsoft. Why? Why do they want to change your behavior so badly they're willing to give it away?

Next is new high capacity hard drives. Hard drives have always been sealed units with clean air inside. Today, drives 10tb or larger are filled with helium. They claim to do this for efficiency and a number of reasons but the bottom line is the drives guarantee they'll stay sealed for 5yrs. After that, good luck. If the helium leaks, heads crash and drive is junk.

Batteries. Microsoft Surface laptops and tablets, cell phones... all do NOT have serviceable batteries without breaking the screen to replace them. These products are junk once the battery dies unless you pay a crazy service fee and mail it in to get it replaced. Yes aftermarket is available but you get my point.

What happens when they tie Windows and OneDrive to social credits or some other bullshit? Can't log in to your computer without approval, can't downgrade to XP or Windows 2000? Your hard drive has crashed because they're all running helium now and you cannot get another one because the supply chain is fucked and all old school drives have been destroyed or put back into service by others with the same problem. Your phone or tablet battery is dead and you cannot salvage one from another phone because screens are no longer available through the manufacturer and we can't get the aftermarket from China anymore.

It's all just looking like another parallel effort to turn our world dark in all aspects when THEY decide its time. I know we all Lready believe this, this is just another example of where I think they've found another dependency to target. If you're plans include computers or phones... maybe make other plans.
