What hobby did you get into over the past year?

None new hobbies.Just collecting postcards ,documents ,stamps etc .They shut down our philately club so I lost good source of interesting stamps to buy and collect

Learning Statistics, R Language, Python, machine learning. Cool stuff.

Rabble rousing.

I got back into building plastic models after a hiatus of many years. It's something that I found has improved dramatically as I have aged, oddly enough, because with age has come patience and that is a valuable quality when taking on some really challenging projects.

Daily use of toe knife.

Now that most classes are online, I decided to finish up a degree.

I can get these damn classes out of the way and I don't have to put up with the on-campus BULLSHIT!

So far, it's been surprisingly nice.

1st ever patio/balcony garden. In just 1 month I've seen absolutely amazing progress in my dozen veggies & herbs growing in large pots.

So far I've got kale, a variety of lettuce and salad greens, beefsteak & cherry tomatoes, mint, oregano, green onions and strawberries.

Getting wild lettuce, sunflower, and anise seeds too.

Also took GLP advice and growing potatoes.


Watching a very wide variety of videos on YouTube, finding new recipes to cook & bake tasty but healthy food, plus redecorated my new condo.

Yoga, swimming in our condo complex pool (just reopened) and speed walking around the interior road at sunrise & sunset are keeping me in shape.

I flew my indoor chopper outside last night when the sun was going down. Crashed a few times.. but still fun.

Hey don't feel bad, I crashed a predator drone & cost the taxpayer about a half mil... but still fun.

I agree with patience.....however the dexterity in my hands are diminishing.....I went thru my modeler phase.....mostly armor vehicles and diorama.....scratch built some too.....wish cheap 3d printers were around in the 70's....lol.....

aint no water in Arizona. eek.

My great grandparents, farmers, homesteaded to Southern Utah in the 1930's. They hand dug a 150 foot well... no water. They lasted 3 years out there and returned to Pennsylvania.

Yikes. That thing is 50 bucks. I saw a movie about a drone pilot recently. He went against orders but it worked out for him.

I bought an entire box of baseball caps for 12 bucks. All new with tags. I couldn't give them away. I still haven't figured that one out yet.

got a dab rig and an enail. also got 100g of delta 8 distillate, some THCV, and a bunch of hemp terpenes.

I also became extremely interested in the Medal of Honor and particularly about reading each recipients story.

I increased my garden size,bought 3 dogs, 2 are livestock guardian dogs and one is a guard dog for our house, ordered more chicks that are now laying so many eggs I have to feed them to the coyotes,oh brother! Bought three goats and learned to milk one. that was a real eye-opener, I do believe you can survive on a goat, you get milk,meat, cheese, Kiefer, I’ve actually come to believe that it’s your biggest survival tool whatever you wanna call it. Also got ducks nine in the freezer and 10 on pasture, they are laying eggs now as well. Planted 50 pounds of potatoes they did great but they sprouted too early in my basement and we threw them out, it was a good lesson to learn. I’m just doing everything I’ve done before just on a bigger scale. If my husband was on board with all this stuff and I didn’t have to do it myself I would have a couple pigs that would be perfect I could raise them on the extra garden produce and eggs.
