What hobby did you get into over the past year?

In 2020 I was able to do more Photography in one year than I did in five.

I mastered my lighting system and switched over to mirrorless camera and my work has become much more consistent and appreciated.

I just got a mirroless m50 this year... love it.

Nikon or sony? I have been interested but lens investments suck and so do adapters usually.

I didn't mind the adapter and I had nice 1.4 primes but as soon as I rented a 1.8 prime z series it was all over for f-mount.

I now just pretty much shoot with 50mm and 85mm 1.8 z mounts and go adapter for wide-angle or Macro 105mm.

I don't mess around with telephoto, it's not what I do.

Cool. pro or hobbyist level work?

While everyone else has been having more time off and doing all kinds of hobbies, I've unfortunately been busier than ever with work taking up even more of my time.

Wife and I bought a travel trailer and I have been playing with RC 1/10 trucks.

3D printing.....I been doing for a few yrs but not on a production level.....I ran 4 printers as a mini print farm to make PPE for hospitals..... during the shortage early on, volunteer groups popped up to help out....

The printers were run 24/7 over 3 months and I learned to rebuild them as they wore out.....the filament material was in short supply due to supply line and increased demand so sourcing was a challenge.....

It can be a fine line sometimes.

I do not get paid at this point. Monetizing is tricky, the only thing in demand these days seems to be stock or the usual bar mitzvahs, weddings, and boring things.

So by virtue of money, I'd say hobbyist.

But results are often times indistinguishable from "Pro" depending on the "Pro" you're comparing me to lol.
