Bitcoin is the crypto coin king. The rest are mostly shill tokens.

You haven't made anything if you haven't taken your gains. And if you have taken your gains well you're paying a 20 to 40% tax on it now

So you just lost two- three grand

A buck's worth can only take you so far....lol......hell I got around $50 of assorted free coins for watching some videos on coinbase.....Flare network is giving free coins for holding XRP......they're doing a snapshot for more free coins if you hold litecoin too .....

I can't put more in than im willing to lose. So yea i dont have massive amounts of the altcoins... But you have to take risk with investments if you want a chance of making money.. I plan to hold and keep on cost averaging it down(buying more regularly even whilst its value drops during a bear market) until we reach yet another new bull market.
Any coin i see that has dumped at least 20% but has potential, a decent market cap, a reason to exist, and has made impressive past ROI i buy.

I have 200ish XRP left over from several years ago. I have been amused at the fluctuations of it's prices over time, but secretly hope it some day bumps up to 5k a piece or some such.

Its definately a 'buy at this level and be rich' coin because it has actual real world use and not just potential. Theirs existing partnerships being built

You are not alone i mined thousands of bitcoins on my Grandma's Emachine in 2011 onto a software wallet. I don't have my password anymore to the wallet so im screwed.
