If so, you’ve missed the last decade or so. All the browser options are compromised; from Tor, Brave, and on down the line. Look into the relationships that Google, Microsoft, Duck Duck Go, et al have with each other, to share search algorithms, results, queries, etc. They are all owned outright, or have compromised relationships for backdoor infiltration by all the premier data gatherers, be they foreign or domestic, from a Israeli war houses to Langley office buildings. Safe and secure are merely buzzwords for suckers. If you’re not spending hundreds of millions or more on security each year, you’re kidding yourself; and if you are, then you are a very prized target. Quoting: Reaching All these anti chrome people crack me up. They all use chromium browsers for fuck sake. Yeah, google does gather more infor from it's users but they are all still chromium browsers. Let them see me, let them find me, track me. When you become old you give a lot less fucks. Your being spied on no matter what fuckin browser you choose and that's a fact. Quoting: Save America From Politicians It was a while back on here(5-6 weeks ago ?)when there was a big push to use Brave. I tried it for about 2 weeks and found it to be much slower and more cumbersome than Chrome. Opera and Chrome both work better for me than Brave. |

Quoting: Agent Smith 2014 "Your browser is managed by your organization" Check if your Chrome browser is managed If you use Chrome at school or work, it might be managed, or set up and maintained by a school, company, or other group. If your Chrome browser is managed, your administrator can set up or restrict certain features, install extensions, monitor activity, and control how you use Chrome. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!? I am the administrator and only user of this is computer. Does anyone else have this message??? if no i am immediately switching to brave or duck duck go browser or something. that is because in the config file of your chrome browser you or your school did configure some settings such way that they cannot be changed from within Chrome itself, but only from within the config file. It has nothing to do with you being local admin on your pc. You would get the same message even if you were domain admin. On a personal note: Why the hell are you an administrator on that computer if you dont even have basic knowledge like this and automatically think all kind of weird stuff is happening? People like you should create a restricted account for use on a day to day basis and only use the admin account for maintenance work or for installing new software. Hell, even me as an expert am using a restricted account on every of my machines as this is good practice and avoids that an eventual virus can brick your machine |
