Gratitude.

I have 4 alarms set to go off every 3 hrs starting at 6:00am.

It's all to remind me to pray sincerely, no matter what I'm doing.

So when the first one goes off I'm grateful for the opportunity to begin.

Sometimes it’s anticipation as I rush to the computer to see if that key player I claimed on waivers was awarded to my team, but that’s usually early on in the season.

My first thought when the alarm goes off? “Not now, day, not now!” As I hit the snooze button to doze off another 9 measly minutes. Rinse, repeat.

And I am retired. So there’s that.

First amendment down... second amendment is our final stand.

Peaceful, content, start outlining my day

Like I wanted to barf.

The laughter could be gone.

I say oh no not again; dread.

Oh Shit. This again.

My 1st thought/ emotion... "FUCK" I have to do this shit again.

That is my # 2.

Comfort and apathy.

Always.

But that is everyday... after a cup of coffee, my morning constitutional and a toke, all things seem possible!

If you were doing it right, you hope the hooker left some of her coke behind.

I lost my brother in 2019 and father in 2017
Never thought I could go on, but ask for strength.

They are in a better place anyway, this is hell on earth for us.

Fuck me. This meat bag again? How far is the bar gonna be lowered today?

Anger. The instant my alarm clock sounds and disrupts a dream, I want to put my fist right through it. I want to feel the plastic give way under my calloused fist as I drive my flesh right through it and the table supporting it.

Then I want to rend my coffee maker into pieces every time it puts grinds into my coffee cup.

Hard on for the wife 😎

I go to bed, sleep in my clothes.
Don’t get under covers, just a small blanket.
Have my tv on fox
Have coffee water cigarettes and weed right beside me.

Wake up countless times.
Usually get up between 4-6
Go on to couch same as above.

I now will go to store in the clothes I
slept in.
We have money but I look like a bum.

I don’t care anymore.

It's pretty much annoyance that I have to get up at 5 a.m. to go to work.

I give thanks within, and then ask if the day would be the day i finally will know why.
