NYC Prosecutors Subpoena Trump CFO Allan Weisselberg's Bank Records As Investigation Heats Up

A team of prosecutors probing the Trump Organization for tax and bank issues is trying to get bank records from the company’s chief financial officer, the New York Times reported Wednesday, as an investigation into former President Donald Trump’s business heats up

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office subpoenaed personal bank records for loyal longtime CFO Allen Weisselberg, multiple unnamed sources told the Times.

Prosecutors have reportedly shown an interest in Weisselberg in recent months: Investigators have asked witnesses about the executive’s work at the company, the Times reported earlier this month, and Weisselberg’s former daughter-in-law told the New Yorker and NBC News she’s spoken to the DA’s office multiple times.
