Never mind - I don't know why I even started listening to it. OMG I know these things happen, but I just can't bear to hear it.

The craziest thing about listening to this testimony, is how similar it is to my upbringing ( Parents were not satanist, but they were heavily involved in church and very abusive in the home, it was like living a double life, definitely demonic, 100%)... and also the relationship I most recently had, 20 years, off and on. That mind control trauma technique, where you are safe one minute, and next minute everything is chaos and then you are supposed to pretend like it never happened and normalise it, where love and pain and hate are all mixed together into this maddening concoction that shatters your mind and emotionally traumatises you. Know it, all too well. Common experience for victims of narcissistic abuse, also.

I remember dissociating from reality, from around age 14 to 19, then came out of it when I moved out. Delivered from demonic oppression in early 20s during a miraculous series of events involving someone God sent my way (literally FELT it leave).

I have seen this over and over again, to the point where the church conserve as front for all types of devious people. One of them was a serial paedophile who had preyed upon my relative as a teen, quite severely. He ran a plumbing business in would use that as a front to find access to other teen boys. My relative ended up coming after him legally, and harassed him whenever he saw him in public. He got him put in prison, but he still got out again, unchanged. He would harass him because he noticed that he was always trying to talk to other boys. The worst thing about the entire issue was that it caused my relative to stop going to church for the rest of his life. This is because the church that he attended in Southern California at the time, didn't want to believe him when he warned them about this predatory paedophile. He saw that the predator had put his business card on the bulletin board at the church. My relative was extremely upset by this, and horrified that other children at that church might become victims. He went directly to the leadership of the church and told them that this man was using his connections at the church to find new victims. The leadership didn't want to hear what he had to say, they were trying to be Christian and welcome anyone and everyone. My brother was just blown away that they had this attitude, because he knew for a fact what was going on in what was going to happen. He lost faith at that moment in the modern church.
