Based on my experience they don't really care what people do as long as they can profit from it. Otherwise, cartels would be eradicated by a single seal team, poppy fields would be obliterated by 2 blackhawks, China would be a sea of radioactive glass, etc. There's no war on drugs. The war is on who profits from them.

I hope it doesn't. The feds are trying to make it sound like it's something completely synthetic (like K2) but it's not. Delta 8 is naturally found it cannabis (in very small amounts), and the conversion process the hemp companies are using is actually pretty straight forward. They use acid to convert CBD to Delta 8. This actually occurs naturally in some humans when they ingest CBD, the CBD converts to THC in their stomachs when it comes in contact with the stomach acid. (This doesn't typically happen because stomach acid usually isn't pure enough for the conversion to occur) so these hemp companies are essentially just recreating what happens naturally to some humans when they ingest CBD.
