For Quoting: Bad Pattern me personally Clutch is and will always be one of THE greatest and hardest working rocks bands EVER... from the 90s until now... still going stronger than ever... This rock n roll story here about Clutch and a father/son duo will hopefully put a smile on your face... for the project to be conceived and achieved during “covid clown world”, I say it’s pretty dang cool! I'm just going to borrow a commenters choice words that I wholeheartedly agreed with: “Not sure what I liked more... The song... The fact that the creator is a father/son duo... The fact that Neil actually took the time to help with this collaboration...” LONG LIVE DAD ROCK! ~BP ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND!!! THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!! GLAD TO SEE SOME RECOGNITION!! Seen them live more times than I can count - first time early 90's. They evolve with every album. M C |

Let’s take it to the basement! Love this collab...sweet story thanks for sharing this! Quoting: 1412 Thanks for all the awesome replies! For any folks who are unaware and care: Neil’s “The Company Band” is pretty wicked stuff as well! They have at least two e.p.s that are solid. The Clutch members’ instrumental project is called the Bakerton Group and they have a couple of wicked albums as well. Last Edited by Bad Pattern on 03/26/2021 10:23 PM |

Although more obscure, I do love me some Scissorfight from back in the day while living in Lowell and Boston.. Good choice! Thanks! If you wanna dig down deep into the vault...way down to the ROOTS... check out Pappo from Argentina... this cat was/is the Hendrix of Argentina... Clutch’s main backbone sound was heavily Influenced by Pappo’s Blues... what’s so cool is that Clutch covered one of his songs on their “Cousins....” record so as to pay proper homage/respect to Pappo.... hope you enjoy! If for anything, the historical and influence components... Pappo was cranking out Clutch like rock in the early 1970s... He passed away in 2005 but still remains highly regarded as one of the most influential guitarists in the history of Argentine rock Clutch’s Pappo cover: Last Edited by Bad Pattern on 03/26/2021 11:10 PM |

They used to rock out a little heavier or redneck grunge like. Makes you appreciate their more recent music even moar! I'll play the game for the games own sake. |
