I was so confused, because the bank description of the deposit said it was by NNSTTAXRFD - New Mexico Tax Refund - and I had already gotten my State tax refund in a check Monday, $103. I called my bank, because I couldn't figure out why it was put in there....  My banker told me the State was giving a tax rebate or break, due to covid, to people in a lower income bracket! My State, one of the poorest in the Union, freaking threw money at me!.....  Gotta say, it is a good day!....  You never change things by fighting the existing reality. It's like we're living in a bubble of peacefulness down here. Mostly everybody's nice and respectful to one another. No protests, no fighting in the streets....it's still nice here. I mean, every once in awhile I'll hear something like a bomb going off, like yesterday....but I think maybe they may be playing war games at White Sands Missile Range.
