A former resident of The Pathway Home, a program for traumatized veterans at the facility, shot three staff members during a farewell party. Haven't read up on that case, but in searching Ytube for this current situation, saw that the 2018 incident was referred to as a 'standoff'. Could have been a bit overstated by the media, perhaps?

daughter in law is a nurse at a nearby veterans home here, and her first comment on hearing about this 'woman in scrubs with a shotgun' in Yountville was this....... 'betting it's a nurse protecting the veterans at all costs against receiving 'the vax' against their wishes'.

From the link, it's mentioned that this is the largest veterans home in the USA.

Reported that there is a woman on the scene who is texting with the woman inside, who is her daughter. The woman inside reportedly hid herself inside a closet somewhere. And that's a HUGE building.

Law enforcement are still looking for her, and are reporting that so far no shots fired have been reported.
