Re: Experts in Lucid Dreaming: A Question
Thank you for all of the information!

I've posted above about briefly lucid dreaming last night but my head started to hurt the more I focused on staying lucid. My theory is it's like stretching a really tight muscle and over time with regular practice, the discomfort will go away. Any thoughts on this?

I have had feedback from some people who said the stimulation of dreaming has caused them to feel like their brain was getting a workout, such as buzzing and other sensations.

There is not a lot of research on that but it likely could be these dormant pathways now being excited creating a bit of feedback in the brain from sudden stimulation.

In my early developing days, I used to get buzzing and other effects like vibrations, etc but that all toned down over time to none at all. Not sure it was linked to stimulation in these dormant regions but research would be needed to confirm or deny it.

Like a growing pain, it went away over time, but wasn't pain only harmless sensations.

Re: Experts in Lucid Dreaming: A Question
A little backstory...

Around the age of 16 I had the ability to lucid dream. I don't know all the technical words so I'll just explain it in simple terms. I could think of a subject/place/person, etc before going to sleep & then while asleep with 100% accuracy literally every single time I could tell you where a person was, what they were wearing, what they were doing, what they were going to do etc. I got a little cocky with this talent & started abusing it for personal gain. Long story short, the law got involved & I lost the ability seemingly overnight.

So here's my question: Can I regain this skill or did I f*ck that all up karma-wise? Previously I had the ability without aids such as background noises or whatever people use nowadays to enter that state of mind. I've sworn I'll never abuse that talent again (and I believe talents like this come from God) but I kinda feel like I had my chance & I abused it so He took it from me.

I'd like to hear what the experts in this field have to say about my query. Can I get it back? If so, how?

Pretty much, yea. Why's that so hard to believe? I'd ask Him directly but He has a funny way of answering indirectly & with a side of humor I tend to not appreciate at the time.

Re: Experts in Lucid Dreaming: A Question
I appreciate it very informative...i have had 3-4 lucid dreams but the 3rd one was when i realised that there's levels of lucidity .

the one that struck me was when i was outside it was daytime not sure about any of the dreams theme or storyline , what struck me was when i realised i was dreaming

and so i looked at the sky suddenly my eyes opened in the dream which sounds silly because i assumed they were already.

The brightness and clarity was indistinguishable from reality to the point that my eyes winced from the glare i could feel like expanding space and even atmosphere then i woke up in shock .

All my other lucid dreams were more conciusly aware and controlled but not vivid just like a normal dream abstract but each clip i could choose my reactions.

I want to achieve the vivid type again and not pull out early .i have done dmt the closed eye version and im convinced of different dimensions populated with beings because of these two experiences.
 Quoting: Beardog

It's the ultra-realistic nature of dreams that keeps me into it because for me at this point in my development it has been like having a second-life where I am the architect of the dreams I want to have or a participant in the dreams that are working out other aspects of myself. Either way, I'd rather have added a realistic dream experience than none at all because I see a lot of intrinsic and self-evolutionary value in these 'what-if' simulations and feel it's useful fun and often very entertaining.

With the stupid lock-down for the first time, my dream life became far more stable and normal than my waking life. I could still go to restaurants, clubs, vacations, and beaches if I wanted to as an ultra-realistic dream simulation where here it was just gloomy depressing crap. So that was a perk I didn't expect making me appreciate this skill more than ever.

It's nice to be able to take a break from all this clown world nonsense shaping our world and have a breath to just be without those influences and those are my dreams today, quite nice. My dreams often are better movies than what's out there these days, way better plots, characters and stories plus it's in first-person full-sensory VR. Awesome.

So definitely keep training the skill it does have a lot of intrinsic rewards that become self-evident as it blossoms into something grander.

Its definetly a great sandbox to escape in im not able to have them when i want , but i dream everynight and recall a good portion .even that i enjoy and then musing over its symbolic associations , i wonder if its as easy as just saying to yourself i want to be lucid tonight.

Ive always been able to think of a time i want to wake and i wake up exactly that time ,no training just can at first i thought it was a fluke or just my natural amount of sleep but its not i can sleep 5 6,7,8 hrs and still snap awake
When i briefely think of a time i need to be up

Maybe. Probably. I can't argue the logic in your statement/question since that "is" what I said & believe. But I figure what's the worst that could happen. I try & it don't work. Life goes on. I try & it does work. Yay. I'm also extremely ignorant on the subject of lucid/remove-viewing so I thought I'd ask all you fine folk what your thoughts are on the matter.

It's a developmental skill so your brain really does grow with lucid dreaming to accommodate the processing demands so to speak. I've covered some of the fMRI studies in this thread. But if you want here's 1 month of courses for free, I've had this offer on since Christmas and barely anyone has taken advantage of it, so sad can't even give it away for free it seems was hoping more would just find out how fun training dreams this way can be. So if interested give it a whirl.

Re: Experts in Lucid Dreaming: A Question
i would love to have an explanation on Whh

1) I m able to decide in my dream and wake up for real

2) Being aware i had this ability in the dream

Note: I m not a Lucid Dreamer
i cant re arrange at will my dream like a puzzle.. all this happened in the classic Movie secuence Dream...

i could say i m also dreaming having those 2 abilitys. not using thems being concient since as i say i m not a lucid dreamer

but since it happen so many times in so many dream scenarios..

i would like to know At least.. how it is possible an action taking in the dream being an actual wake up call...

Interesting after withdrawing from anti depressants i got shocks ,buzzing in the brain due to neurons firing back up stabilising i wonder if your developing pathways were reproducing this same effect.i could also hear my eyes when i moved them like that slight buzz and vibration a cars powersteering emits.by hear i mean inside my head not ears

Pretty sure lucid is just knowing you are asleep so you are a lucid dreamer .if you activate a certain area of the brain you will be suprised how much is automated your intention was catlyst enough your body took over the rest i guess

I think there is something to it related to reving up dormant neural pathways seems to fit the pattern but again haven't really sought any research on it maybe there is will have to search it out.

 Quoting: here&back

I had a chance to be a part of it back in the early 90s with PSI-Tech and Ed Dames when he was with Joni Dourif. Could have gone to California to train but liked dreaming far more so stuck with that path on my own.

But I was friends with Ed and Joni during the Psi-Tech days and knew a lot of people training in RV as a result. Got to meet and chat with Joe McMoneagle at the Monroe Institute plus several times been involved in some sessions.

It's interesting because it does work for some very skilled remote viewers like Joe. The future aspect of it however seems to degrade and not be as reliable as say, current timeline regions etc. But the information can also be biased by intellectual ego and noise so there is that, it's not perfect by no means. Hence why the military use a team and then evaluate the data rather than one remote-viewer.

When it became public they did a lot of disinfo campaigns against it and pulled it back into a more secretive unit meaning publicly we think it's not being developed or used today but it is, just they have the lid sealed so the public isn't as aware. The Govt love's its secrets.

Here is a pic that Ed and Joni sent me so you know I'm not making it up.

I've been around a lot of places so to speak could have worked with 2 groups but have opted out and just a lone wolf forging my own path. Don't have any interest in military use of this kind of human potential. Would rather it be in the hands of the people for the people.

It is, and the interesting thing about Earth as a system is it's the information we can parse with intent and awareness, but due to the probability branches, you may or may not get the information correct as it applies to our current timeline as time is a 5D probability fractal.

You can achieve the same with consciousness during sleep, many people call it the Akashic Records but the difference with being in a dream simulation with that data is you actively interact with it and that can greatly bias the data hence why RV was chosen as the better method. Less bias and noise, easier to control.

Regardless there will always be uncertainty in the data due to the nature of probability in the collective dataset which people often don't understand expecting some deterministic result of past/present/future.

That's why the more they go into the future the more noise and errors emerge as the future is a probability distribution of potential events that choices we make right now are impacting.

Understand, however, what do you believe is true about the past?
See that everything is influenced, but do you think RV can give an accurate picture of what happened before?
And know that I'm not obsessed with RV, just that it gave a great picture of the details we don't know.

That depends on the skill of the RV person, or group. The biasing of our intellectual ego is one of the big challenges always with this skill.

That said, it can present information that may be valid but when it comes to unverifiable data ie we cannot prove it historically as no evidence to support remains then it's not going to be accepted rather just viewed as some possibility.

I think they may actually pull this off with quantum technology if they haven't already based on retrocausality and entanglement research.

The problem is with quantum decoherence and the Heisenberg's uncertainty principle are going to make that very difficult to get accurate but difficult doesn't mean impossible in my opinion.

If human consciousness can pull it off, technology could likely pull it off better once the mechanics are understood so the human intellectual ego is no longer a factor and just raw data flows unbiased.

Re: Experts in Lucid Dreaming: A Question
Its definetly a great sandbox to escape in im not able to have them when i want , but i dream everynight and recall a good portion .even that i enjoy and then musing over its symbolic associations , i wonder if its as easy as just saying to yourself i want to be lucid tonight.

Ive always been able to think of a time i want to wake and i wake up exactly that time ,no training just can at first i thought it was a fluke or just my natural amount of sleep but its not i can sleep 5 6,7,8 hrs and still snap awake
When i briefely think of a time i need to be up

It's a developmental skill so your brain really does grow with lucid dreaming to accommodate the processing demands so to speak. I've covered some of the fMRI studies in this thread. But if you want here's 1 month of courses for free, I've had this offer on since Christmas and barely anyone has taken advantage of it, so sad can't even give it away for free it seems was hoping more would just find out how fun training dreams this way can be. So if interested give it a whirl.

Just use: FREEBUNDLE and it's entirely free for 4 weeks of dream training.

I signed up for the free week, and will add this bundle as well! This thread inspired me to start a dream journal for the first time in years, so thank you.

Do you need a laptop or computer to use this, or can it be used on an IPad?

Thank you - the Alterwelt group referenced that alot so, was just curious. Very interesting.

You're literally a bastion of information. Back when I could do this I experienced exactly what you describe. I've never really spoken with anyone about the intricacies of this gift/skill before so to hear you describe MY real-life experiences is a bit surreal. Day-or-two-ahead viewing was like being in a mist in my dreams. I had to force my eyes open (in my dream) to see things/objects/people, etc clearly & even then it would sometimes be in pieces or watching edited sections of film (best way I know to describe it).

Daily update: Well last night sucked. If I dreamed I don't remember it. I did eat a banana before bed again. I was pretty exhausted yesterday though so I'm not beating myself up too bad over it. I'll try again w/ the next baby-step I'm working toward tonight.

Should work on an iPad, best on PC for the courseware software just for ease of navigation.

You are going to have periods of amnesiac sleep while rehabilitating memory for dreams, but that's ok because each night is a new opportunity to dream.

Hopefully, some really epic stellar ones emerge to build your confidence and desire to keep improving your dream quality.

Re: Experts in Lucid Dreaming: A Question
Well, I went back in time in my dream last night. It was a first, I usually go forward or present time.

Very cool to be in Rome back in the day. Interactive, protecting someone else's child with repeated dangerous curiosity around fire, placing lye and bars of dye into a boiling pot to dye clothes. It was probably spurred by watching Godzilla, 2014.

I love historical dreams, they can be really amazing especially if the details are so accurate to that time period.

I've had one dream that I can recall where it was in historic Rome and I was walking through a market. Very fun.

Did you go to Rome to check your accuracy? I have found places in China that were right out of my dreams. I use my dreams to navigate places before I arrive for spiritual experiences. I have found amazing things unfound on tourism maps.

Yes to some degree. It's quite an amazing thing to get a subjective experience like a dream, suddenly have an objective relationship to reality.

Deja Reve has been the prime example in my life of dreams and reality as having an interconnectedness most here are blind too.

What are your thoughts on parallel universes and dreams?
Recently read a book (fiction) portraying that for every action the opposite action happened and you are actually in multiple realities that only your dreams can show glimpses into.

I support that based on my own personal experiences that dreams give us access to other bands of experience which are both local to this reality, and beyond.

We are threaded into the Cosmos in ways most here would never, ever believe.
