Weed makes dreaming stop. I dream very vivid lucid dreams every night. When I used to smoke weed I would have maybe 1 or 2 week. After I stopped my dreams came back to a daily thing. Each is different but I can say that I am almost certain it takes your dreams away.
Quoting: Vivarium If it affects our brain in waking life, ie causes short-term/long-term memory loss that carries over into our dream life because our dreaming is linked to our brain as the brain repurposes itself for our dream experiences using the same regions it uses for our senses, logic, reason etc. That's why I quit alcohol 11 years ago as it was ruining my dream life diminishing the experience. I'm also 49 so have grown out of a lot of the vices of my youth.
