I'll jump in here. I do not have access to any kind of secret information but do possess a working brain in my head and this is what it is telling me is really going on with Brian and Kims "demise"

I think if they are ruled suicides and one didn't kill the other, there won't be any more news or police information forthcoming and it's all private for the families. And I think neither of them are from there, so it'll be a bitch to track down obits or anything like that without knowing their real names.
