It's not, they can create video that is 100% fake and 99% convincing.

To put a finer point on it, a kid can do this in his Mom's basement on a 5 year old computer.

So if a basement kid on an outdated computer can make a video that will fool 99% of people, what do you suppose THE MAN can do with a computer 20 years ahead of it's time?

So while you think fuzzy CGI microphones and Chromakey accidents are "the norm" and this is the best they can do...

They can show you all manner of horror and sell it as real and now without the hassle of Crisis actors, etc.

What will they create with an empty Washington DC?

What will you be convinced of in a month or two, maybe less?

Answer: Fiction.
