I had the first strange dream in a long while yesterday:

The dream started with me in what appeared to be a communications center of som sort situated in the vicinity of the Colombia Street Waterfront District. I knew I was immediately south of the the Financial District which I could see out the window across the water. I was a causal observer in this ambiguous communications center and as I listened to the conversations taking place I realized that they were all reminiscing about the 9/11 events and about how it could never happen again. Just as they were saying this, the sound of a jumbo jet was heard and flew just over our building in the direction of the financial district at water level. Then, in dreamlike fashion, it was slowed down, stopped in mid-air, and blown back towards the direction of the Atlantic. Then I woke up.

Thread: Strange Dream I had last night related to 9/11

Maybe something is really going to go down if those of us who normally don't get dreams suddenly start getting really strange ones. According to the Bible, one of God's favorite ways of communicating with mankind is thru dreams.

Master lucid dreaming so you can (1) jump out of the plane before it crashes and fly all by "yourself" and (2) yell "Ehhh shuddup!!" at the screaming dead people.

That's odd. The dream I had was like this....I was at an airport terminal (don't know where) waiting on someone to land (don't know who). Was watching the tv monitors and they were talking about what looked like a massive earthquake. There were scenes of massive destruction and raging fires. Next thing I know is that there was an evacuation of the airport. People were running and screaming all around me. I just walked like nothing was happening. I saw a monitor on the way showing all flights were cancelled. When i looked behind me, there was this massive cloud barreling down on the entire airport and as far as I could see. In a flash, I was on the plane that I was waiting for. It was in the air and all hell was breaking loose. Out the window, I could see a massive flow of what looked like volcanic ash devouring all of the land below. The plane began to fall from the sky into an angry ocean. I then shifted my view from the water level, looking up at the falling plane - watching it hit the water. It didn't explode or get ripped apart - it just sank. The people on the plane were screaming at me. "Why won't you help me?" This dead girl asked. Right in my face! It was freaky....sorry, my writing sux and I'm tired

As I've gotten older and I've been dealing with a lot of stress in my daily life for about a decade now, my nightmares aren't really nightmares anymore.

Most of the time when I have a so called nightmare, I go lucid: I recognize that I am dreaming and take control of the dream.

When that does not happen, I am sort of resigned to whatever shit I'm being put through in the dream. I cope with it just like I cope with the stress-inducing crap in real life: do something about it and think about it only later! Zombies? Chop them up. Missing my flight? Whatever. Getting possessed by an evil entity? Fight back.

I manage to wake myself up before it gets too scary.

I can never remember my dreams exactly when I wake up. However, I am always left with the feelings or sensations on whether they were good or bad.

Perfect example, not even 20 minutes ago I woke up and my mind was saying to me....'Man, what a strange dream...' so apparently I had a weird dream. But I'll be damned if I ever remember what the dream actually was.

I'm always fascinated by people who can remember their dreams in such vivid detail.

Too much GLP will do that.

It could be a message. Sometimes dreams will go over the top to get the message to you. Maybe someone needs your help right. Is there any area of your life where you can be more helpful. Maybe there's someone in your life who is "dead" to you in a metaphorical way.

Or, it could be an upsetting event coming up that the crash symbolizes, but you're going to come out of it o.k.

I keep waking up tonight too

I have had trouble sleeping all week and normally that doesn't happen, at the end ov8the day I am an exhausted mom.

Lots of weird and scary dreams lately too, which is unusual for me.

The worst ones are when you try to scream but no sound comes out.

maybe some melatonin would help, it does sometimes pick up dream effects however.

I have very vivid wild, weird dreams from my injury form a anit malerial drug in the USMC. I don't remember much times. Thank God for that. However when my wife was alive, i would be fighting with things a ton in my sleep. over the last few months i have been moving the mattrees about a foot left or right and a foot off the wall. I have a heavy expensive mattress and it is not easy to do or move back. So I know things have been intense. I get about 4 hours before waking even with sleeping meds.

However for you try 50mg before bedtime, it should put you in a more restful state. I cannot use it right now, and it has been bad.

Ask yourself throughout the day "am I dreaming", and you'll eventually start asking yourself that in your dream.

When you notice you're dreaming, fly, if you can. If you don't know how to fly, start by jumping up, you'll get higher and higher and higher, and will float down in low gravity. Eventually you'll be able to fly, with focus.

I like to fly up as high as I can, then explore the dream level like a drone, and find the borders and get out of the boundaries.
