He has also heard about the $27M #GeorgeFloyd family settlement. Tells Judge Cahill he thought the timing of the announcement was "odd," explaining he thought it might come after the criminal trial. But again, insists no bearing on his ability to serve on jury. https://twitter.com/_/status/1371922196222779393 The city blew this trial up by announcing the settlement. One has to wonder if it was done on purpose. I doubt they can find anymore jurors that haven't heard about it and the Judge is still going to question the jurors selected to find out if they've heard or read about it. No way Chauvin can get a fair trial in Minneapolis.
