Alright. Sounds like something akin to what happened to GLP fairly often in between November 3rd, 2020 and January 2021.

On about three separate occasions, as I recall, my phone rang and when I answered all I heard were those 'clicking' sounds, as mentioned above.

The sounds had a pattern and a cadence to them.

I had developed the habit of listening first to the caller before saying hello , but when I did in these calls there was a definite responce and alteration in speech pattern.

Puts another twist on ET phone home.

Yep!! This has happened more than a few times over the last couple of years. Seemed to happen considerably more often to me over the course of Year 2020. Seems to have stopped happening to me this year so far. Probably because I have largely stopped answering any calls T-Mobile's Caller ID pops up as "Scam Likely" unless if I know the number to be a legitimate number.

The calls I did answer that had that bizarro world-esque silence before there was some sort of response or altercation to it when I kept saying, "Hello?" it always felt to me as though something was pulling at my ear from inside. Usually at the same time the clicks or pops were happening. This usually left me with a creepy feeling. Not sure why.
