My all time favorite would have to be Mrs Renfros... they’re out of Fort Worth of memory recalls...sadly I can’t find them in my neck of the woods.
Mezzetta is the closet thing I’ve been able to find.

Slight digress but I like to keep the empty jar and juice and fill them with canned green olives or beets... so delicious! If you use Julian beets you can use on a salad and not even need salad dressing!

Another trick I enjoy is to find a crispy brand (such as Renfros) and buy two jars... take one jar, pour out some juice and add some of your favorite cane sugar... not too much... let it soak for a few days (shake of you are able)... then enjoy those with some cream cheese and crackers. Don’t try the sugar trick on those soggy cheap nacho style jalapeños by the majors like del monte... they’ll practically liquidate since they come close to that upon opening.

Have a blessed and spicy day!

Mrs Renfros is a great brand, I love their ghost pepper salsa

winco has jarred pickled jalapenos for $1.23, I buy those (prefer glass containers over cans)

but it makes me feel lazy, because buying fresh jalapenos or serranos and boiling them briefly in vinegar costs a lot less, takes 10 minutes

edit: I reuse the jarred pickling liquid to assuage my guilt

I freeze enough every year to last until the next year. I slice them up and put a serving into little wax paper parcels and put them into a freezer bag.

Lately I have been dicing them up and putting them into a hamburger patty, sort of like green chili cheeseburgers but hotter. I have about 30 plants started under lights right now, going to make an insane amount of jalapeño poppers for the freezer this year.

I'd have to say LaCostina brand, they come sliced or spears. The have bits of onion and sliced carrots. Not cooked to death and soggy, they have a crunch and just the right amount of heat
I use them on everything... great, now I'm hungry.

Homegrown is key.

The plants eventually adapt to your personally tailored wants and needs, sometimes even introducing new ones that you never thought you had.

Like any (but especially ingestable) plants grown for the proper purposes, they end up 'growing' you.

Once ya get a taste of that personalized symbiosis there's no going back.

cheers
