...

You guys are so polite.

I don't tell anyone good morning until I have had coffee.

The only thing.....I don't drink coffee very often, once or twice a month at most!

Get a few beers in me though and if I am feeling good, I might try to hug you and tell you I love you....lol chuckle
 Quoting: Osmium76

Then we should start a drinking thread! I never get enough loves, poor wittle me. chuckle
 Quoting: Fossy

Well, since LM has graciously given me some coffee this morning. (but no pie)

I can express similar greeting to you!

Top of the day to you also! Sweetipie! hf
 Quoting: Osmium76

Thank you! I was just kidding about the drinking thread.
 Quoting: Fossy

Lol, It's all good. beer2

I could attend a drinking thread, but since it's GLP; It's kinda like they are all drinking threads..... Even If it isn't me drinking!

I am a sober drinker (I can go stone sober drunk....) or a lovey dovey, happy, drinker. drinks

Rarely am I an angry one, unless there are people around who irritate the shit out of me and overstep boundaries.

Then, yeah, that can set me off. burnit

What is Pi?

“Probably no symbol in mathematics has evoked as much mystery, romanticism, misconception and human interest as the number pi”

~William L. Schaaf, Nature and History of Pi

Pi (often represented by the lower-case Greek letter π), one of the most well-known mathematical constants, is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. For any circle, the distance around the edge is a little more than three times the distance across.

Typing π into a calculator and pressing ENTER will yield the result 3.141592654, not because this value is exact, but because a calculator’s display is often limited to 10 digits. Pi is actually an irrational number (a decimal with no end and no repeating pattern) that is most often approximated with the decimal 3.14 or the fraction 227

The real trick is to learn to think critically; ask better and more questions. Don't accept anything at face value. Be sure you're making healthy decisions, getting adequate rest and spending proper time reflecting on things.

PI AND THE GREAT PYRAMID

It was John Taylor who first proposed the idea that the number&pi might have been intentionally incorporated into the design of the Great Pyramid of Khufu at Giza. . .

It is true that if one divides the Great Pyramid's perimeter by its height

, one indeed obtains a very good approximation to 2&pi. An equivalent statement is that the slope of each face of the Great Pyramid is very close to 4/&pi=1.273239.... This relationship is accurate to within .04% or better (depending on the data that one uses).

That level of accuracy seems very impressive and is certainly the reason that Taylor's idea has been widely promoted and believed. Could such an accurate and elegant relationship be just a mere coincidence?

The six million ton Great Pyramid of Khufu is off of true north by three sixtieth of one degree.
Human error or intentional design?

You decide..
