St. Patrick's Day is 5 Days Away. Irish Butter for my Breakfast, Irish Cream for my Coffee & Jameson's Whiskey for Later

Some 3 minute history:

I'm using the holiday to celebrate 3 weeks of my alcohol free mega diet. I'll be down to 250 pounds or less that day from my highest weight at 276 pounds. I'm 254 pounds today.

1 pint of Jameson's whiskey and some Bailey's Irish cream will probably give me quite a buzz. (It wouldn't have 3 weeks ago...)

I can't be the only Irish guy here...

One of my favorite holidays!!!Goign to see a Live Irish Band and come home and play Irish Music till my neighbors are dancing a jig with me- lol Making an Irish Car Bomb Cake, the usual Corned Beef and Cabbage with small irish potatoes,Green Bean with Ham and Irish Soda Bread---- ALL Homemade!!! Jameson whiskey in the cake frosting, Guinness Stout in the Cake Mix--makes for a mighty fine cake!!! And top it off with an Irish Coffee.

190 is my goal. I was 165 in High school.

I'm eating a mostly healthy English muffin with egg and cheese each morning. I make them myself diner style. I'm not drinking any alcohol or having any junk food. I instead drink lots of water each day. I squirt a little Mio flavoring in just to give it some taste. Lunch is usually home made soup and dinner is a salad or something else I that isn't too heavy.

I'm exercising on my recumbent bike every day. 25 minutes in the morning and 40 minutes at night. I'm losing a pound a day.

CULTURAL APPROPRIATION!!!!

In all seriousness, I'm hoping for my $1,400 soon. That's two months of back rent that's going right to my landlord.

What do you expect to achieve from drinking 1 pint of whiskey?

You pay 700 US$ rent a month? What city is that? How large is your home?

To me Irish coffee is with Bailey's Irish Cream. I only drink in the morning if I find some unused booze from the night before.

"Bonus booze" I call it.

Go to New York City and $700 will get you a tent and a porta potty if you're lucky.

I'm in upstate NY in a nicely restored house from the 1860's. Large beautiful backyard that I can do anything I want with. I barbecue and garden there. They originally asked for $785 and I said $700. They agreed and haven't raised my rent in over 8 years.

I found a vintage butter slicer in my drawer but I couldn't figure it out. I watched a Youtube video and all is good. (You have to slice it on the paper and then push the rest up from below because it doesn't slice all the way through.) Must not have been an Irish design.

I'll be using it to slice my Irish butter for my breakfast.
