#3 Credit cards ( this debt has to be serviced carrying balances is big trouble) Once they contract credit your cards are basically useless. If you default you open yourself to lawsuits

#4 Rising property values (we all know what happened last time) People owed more than the house was worth.

Countries are no different really. It all boils down to debt and debt to income ratio. We now have more debt public and private than at any point in history

Because smart people are dumping any spare dollar they get, they take it out of the dollar and put it in stocks, bonds, crypto and metals. Because, when hyperinflation hits its better to have the dollar in the S&P 500 because it isn't like those companies will stop making products and the stocks and exchange traded funds will rise in price to match the inflation, while people holding the dollars will be holding worthless paper. So, what you are seeing is everyone dumping cash.
