I have had numerous attorneys review and verify my trust structure over the years; it is sound. I have NFA trusts as well, which are fully compliant with the ATF and they also have been fully reviewed. Saying that I need "therapy", well that is nothing more than the ramblings of an ignorant asshole. I can confirm from the long term care side if you have a 200 million dollar property you still live in under the ownership of a trust legally you own nothing and Medicaid pays your way while average joe is sucked down to 2000 dollars before state funds kick in. If they jump the gun and take it anyway or jail you the illusion of regulation and law is over and we move to all out survival. Seeker 2 |

Sounds flawed, if no one in the state or country is allowed to own a particular firearm, then bye-bye assigning another trustee to own a gun. If they falsely deem you as incompetent, then bye-bye ability to assign a weapon to a new trustee. Plus it creates documentation, on file or not |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80111368 United States 03/13/2021 03:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am going to give you a suggestion, run with it if you like or ignore it totally. I am not providing legal advice, this is just me telling a story, so listen to my story or ignore it, your choice. Quoting: Cryptographer I suggest that you create an individual REVOCABLE TRUST for EACH FIREARM you own and assign ownership of a firearm into the given trust. This means each trust you create will own ONE firearm. If you have 10 firearms, you have 10 trusts. You can also assign ammo into the trust if you like. They can even be named in numbered order: OK Coral Firearms #1 Revocable Trust OK Coral Firearms #2 Revocable Trust OK Coral Firearms #3 Revocable Trust ...etc You will need at least one Trustee (you) and a beneficiary. Trusts cost NOTHING to form (unlike filing a LLC or corporation) and do NOT have to be part of any public record. To establish the date the trust was created so it can not be disputed later make sure your signature is NOTARIZED when you form the trust. Now... once you do this you no longer technically own the firearm, the trust does. This means that if you wish to transfer that trust to anyone else in the future you simply add a Trustee to the trust and then you can resign from the trust. That is not a transfer or sale of the firearm. The new trustee now has control of the trust, and the firearm, and no "transfer" has taken place. Do this BEFORE it is signed into law, if it looks like that is going to happen. I predict it will happen. You are welcome. If you have to do this its already over It all ended November 2020...The US is over... |

Cool story bro! you totally found a loophole that the *trillions* of dollars worth of lawyers in nra and other gun right groups have totally missed! we're so privledged to hear about it on our super secret internet forum because you're just so awesome and ahead of the curve. or you are completely full of shit. hmm. gee. i wonder which it could be? |

So many people here with their head up their ass just looking to talk shit about anything somebody tries to put out there to see if it makes a difference. I'm ashamed to have been one of them. Thank you for putting this out there for others to consider. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80138459 This may or may not work but I think what matters here is that you gave enough of a shit to come up with something. So many people here with their head up their ass just looking to talk shit about anything somebody tries to put out there to see if it makes a difference. I'm ashamed to have been one of them. Thank you for putting this out there for others to consider. Thanks for the comment. Yeah, there are people here that just bag on anything. Personally I believe half of them don't have the brain power to understand it and the other half I believe are those that have an agenda it threatens. Regardless, I have used trusts for a long time and they work. They are too dense to realize you could use a corporation for the same thing. Just transfer the stock and you will transfer "control" of the firearm. The difference is that the state has their hand out each year for "renewal fees" for the corporation -- a trust doesn't have any "fees" nor any annual requirements for anything. They MIGHT be able to understand a corporation a little better but the entire "trust" thing, well I don't think they even understand the basics... so what do people do when they don't understand something? The make fun it it..... So be it. I will be laughing because I have already done this and I know *I* will be in the best position possible. I am almost to the point that I am about where I am just NEVER going to help people with ANYTHING because in the end they really don't appreciate it anyhow. Cryptographer |
