It sounds good but means nothing and wont be observed during your court hearing for whatever charges they stack on you.
You’re literally better off reporting your guns stolen, less time if you get caught.

I would agree, self-help gun trust will get tossed out of court and you will get busted.
Not so sure reporting your guns stolen will make any sense either, if there is a bump in reports of stolen guns, it will invite scrutiny if you are part of it.
Even if you get a way with it and then use your stolen gun in self defense under rule of law, guess what, you are still screwed legally.
There are no good work arounds unless the law is changed. I think the NFA gun trusts are a reasonable approach as long as they are done using compliant paperwork.
