A signaling pathway called Nuclear Factor kappa B (NF-κB) plays an important role in the body’s inflammation response in the context of infection or disease. NF-κB are proteins that help to regulate gene expression and the production of certain immune cells. These proteins respond to the presence of viral or bacterial molecules in the system, and that is when they start switching relevant genes related to the immune response on and off at cellular level. Dysregulated NF-κB activity has been linked with the presence of autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, and arthritis. The researchers note that NF-κB activity tends to slow down the lower the body temperature. But when the body temperature is elevated over the usual 37°C (98.6°F), it tends to become more intense. |

What fever does is to take calcium from the bones to keep the blood alkaline. Take some calcium and watch the fever go down and pains will go away. Bone broth will help also. Keep the body alkaline so your body doesn’t have to heat up to steal calcium from the bones. |

Complete and total anecdotal evidence. 72yo father hasn't changed anything. Lives with me in Florida. Agent orange exposed. He's got Copd and emphysema. Smokes a half a pack a day. Takes around 800mg aspirin a day. Hasn't been sick since 2017 after receiving a pneumonia vax at the VA hospital and him ending up in a private hospital for a week with pneumonia that almost killed him. He says they folks that are worried about a virus aren't right with their god. We'll meet in Valhalla or Fréja's garden. Until then, live free and find your happiness. |

Welcome to death. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76258609 United States 03/11/2021 02:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.sciencedaily.com (secure)] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79086006 The researchers found aspirin use was associated with a 44 percent reduction in the risk of being put on a mechanical ventilator, a 43 percent decrease in the risk of ICU admission and -- most importantly -- a 47 percent decrease in the risk of dying in the hospital compared to those who were not taking aspirin. Aspirin use to avoid the development of cardiovascular diseases in healthy individuals was associated with a 29% lower likelihood of COVID-19 infection, as compared to aspirin non-users. Pop an aspirin and get back to life. If you are just now hearing it, you haven't been listening very closely. If you go back and see what medications were given to President Trump during his brief hospital stay, you will find aspirin on the list. They knew this back then, and there were anecdotal reports of it working. One aspirin a day is apparently the dose used, and at that low of a dose it's practically a zero risk, so why not? |
